Anchor Inn		A five star bloody mary here. Walk onto the grounds and you'll see most of the patrons enjoying a bloody mary sitting next to the Rock river. Great taste, loaded salad that included the usual plus shrimp, pickled corn and asparagus, cheese, and sausage.
Avenue Bar		A great supper-club bloody served in a rocks glass. Ask for Chico the bartender to make it for you.
Backwoods Bar and Grill		Made a trip to try out the famous Bloody Mary here. I was afraid the hype might might live up to my expectations, but it turned out to be a great bloody. It has a signature taste that was just a little to sweet for my palette and I would of liked to see a slice lime, but definitely still a five star bloody.
Barnacle Buds		Enjoy the view of the Kinnickinnic River with a Bloody Mary - if you can find the place.
Barnacle Buds		This rating is for the weekend Bloody Mary bar. You get served a Miller Lite shortie, Sky Vodka, and a Buffalo Wing. The rest is up to you. Good selection of salad and spices.
Beach House Restaurant and Lounge		Nothing out of the ordinary, standard salad of pickled veggies, mild tasting, and $3.50.
Bluephies		My bloody was good, but they were inconsistent in our group. The celery salt on the rim is a bonus.
Bluephies		The Fat Boy Bloody is a five star for me. How can it not be if it's made with bacon! It will set you back a few bucks, but it's worth it.
Bonfyre American Grille		Wow! Is that a big bloody mary or are you just happy to see me. This bloody comes in mug that a German would be proud to drink beer from. It has great salad that includes a beef stick and string cheese. All for $5.50. I did feel it needed a little more heat though.
Brocach Irish Pub		It was a bit pricey, but still a great tasting bloody with a little Guinness added to it.
Brothers Three		I was a bit disappointed in this one. Not much spice - even when I asked to spice up the second one I had. Salad was limited to an olive and lemon slice. The breakfast was great though!
Buffalo Wild Wings		Being a chain restaurant, I was surprised at how good BW's bloody mary was. They have three versions on their menu. I had the Maria with tequila. They also have the traditional mix and one with BBQ sauce.
Cabana Room		Worth the $3 investment on Sundays. It has a bit of smoky flavor to it, which I'm usually not a fan of, but in this case it worked. Hot sauce provided on the side and a wide selection of chasers. Downside was that it only came with a slice of lemon and lime.
Cafe Continental		This is a good Bloody Mary. However, I though it was lacking in the spice, even though I ordered extra spicy.
Caribou Tavern		Typical old-school bloody. Served in a rocks glass with olive, pickle, and lemon slice. Nothing to write home about.
Club Tavern and Grill		The Club Tavern has six diffrent bloody mary's on their menu. I went with the Citrus Infused vodka bloody. It was great, but I think $8.99 is a little steep though.
Club Tavern and Grill		Had the Bloody Maria this time. Had enough tequila in to knock down a horse. Great salad again, that included shrimp, cheese and beef stick, along with other standard items.
Clubhouse A Pub of Sports		The pub is located in the Paper Valley Hotel. They hit all five stars on this one!
Dayton Street Grille		The Dayton Street Grille is in the Concourse Hotel, sort of hidden from the Madison locals, but it's worth finding to get a bloody with the breakfast buffet. I tasted a hint of smoke flavor in the bloody mary, which I'm not a big fan of, other than that a 5 star treat.
Derry Hegarty's		Excellent tasting Bloody. Just the right amount of heat. Pickle, lemon, and olive for the salad.
Dobhan		This is becoming one of my favorite Bloody Marys in Madison. It has respectable salad, great taste, and only $4.
Dorf Haus Supper Club		Although it's a Sauk City address, this gem is in the small hamlet of Roxbury. The bloody mary is what you would expect in a Wisconsin Supper Club. Served in a rocks class with olive and mushroom, sans pickle. The mix was of the pre-made, store-purchased type, but the bartender added some heat and spice. The bar atmosphere was a nice addition to the bloody.
Duke of Devon		A decent bloody with a very good salad. Could of used a little more heat in the spice though.
Eldorado		I went with the Killer Murder Bloody, one of three versions available. It was made with chili pepper vodka and was perfect to the last drop. The salad was a great pickled assortment.
Elks Lodge #299		Just tomato juice, and a mixture of dry spices. Don't go out of your way to get this one.
Five Point Cafe Office		A great bloody. Celery salt on the rim - a personal favorite. Even a view of the Space Needle from the mens restroom!
Flannery's		Tasty Bloody Mary with a couple olives, pickle, lemon and lime slice. Had a nice balance of heat and taste.
Genna's Lounge		Genna's has a bloody mary bar so the spice and salad is in your control. The flavor and spice of the bloody as is from the bartender is able to stand on it's own.
Glass Nickel Pizza Co.		A great bloody mary, but a little to much horseradish for more my taste. A great selection of beers to choose from for a chaser. A good spot to go after breakfast at the daisy cafe down the street.
Graze		A bit dissapointed with this one. Too heave on the horseradish an not enough flavor. Too pricy at $7.50.
Grillsmith		Very affordable, pint sized bloody mary. Came with the tall, crisp stalk of celery - something that more and more places seem to be skimping on.
Harry's Dinner		A pint for only $3.75, but lacking in strength. Also needed some more flavor, maybe some celery salt. The salad had a shrimp.
Hawks Bar and Grill		I thought this one was a little lite on the taste and spice, also would of been nice if there was more than just a pickle and olive for the salad.
Iron Ridge Inn		Not enough spice or salad.
Jacs		Tasty, but not much heat. Traditional salad of pickle, olive, celery with a slice of lemon and lime. Served in rocks glass. $2.00 with breakfast, otherwise $8.00.
Jordan's Big Ten Pub		Disappointing. Tasted like Tabasco sauce and vodka. Alot of heat but no flavor.
Kelly's Bleachers		A single olive for salad, and no flavor or heat. Tasted like plain tomato juice in a plastic cup. But on their defense this it was a tailgating day for a Brewer game. Maybe the bloodies are better on other days.
La Mestiza		Definitely a different tasting bloody mary. It used 100% agave tequila and tomato juice with other citrus juices. Almost a bloody margherita. Not much of a salad though.
Local Tavern		Good salad and spice. No pickle though :(, but a bonus for offering a chaser w/o asking.
Local Tavern		New ownership at the Local has stepped things up a notch, and their bloody mary has followed suit. For $5.50 you get a tasty pint glass rimmed with rock salt and celery seed. It also includes a hefty salad.
Loopy's Saloon and Grill		After a tour of the Leinenkugel Brewery, stop in Loopy's for a great bloody. Tasted heavy on the celery salt, but I like that in a bloody. Salad included cheese, sausage, and pepperoncini. Downside was the plastic glass - but I'm sure that is because of the volleyball courts.
Marigold Kitchen		Nice salad, pickle, olives, and salsa. A bit heavy with horseradish though.
Marigold Kitchen		Unfortunately the quality of this bloody dropped since my last visit. This time it was almost tasteless - very bland. What happened Marigold?
Meyer's Lakeview Pub		A pretty good bloody. I ordered it spicy, but could still of used a little more heat. Can't beat the free chaser of your choice.
Mickey's Tavern		This one is near perfect. A great salad - at least 7 pieces.
Mission Bar		Actually this was a Bloody Maria (with Tequilla), but very tasty.
Monty's Blue Plate Diner		Good salad, had a spice to it, but only gave it half star there becuase I thought it could of tasted better.
Monty's Blue Plate Diner		This ranking is for the Bloody Monty. Monty's regular bloody with a loaded salad that includes a chunk of cheddar cheese, but I'm don't think it's really worth the extra $1.50.
Murphy's Tavern		Would of been close to a five star bloody, but it was lacking in the salad department...only two olives.
Nick's Restaurant		A good bloody, but couldn't give it much more than three stars. Not sure what was missing. maybe it was just because everything about it was just average.
Nine 21 Bar and Grill		This was a pretty bland bloody mary with a basic salad. No reason to return for this bloody.
Paradise Lounge		It took 15 minutes for the bartender to make our Bloodys, but that's because they are made from scratch and the result is very tasty. The salad could of used a little improvement though.
Pasqual's Hilldale		I needed to add some habanero sauce to give it some heat. A little pricey for what you got.
Paul's Neighborhood Bar		A pretty standard bloody mary. Got a bit of a buzz after two and you can't beat the cost. What is up with the english muffin though?
Plaka Taverna		Had the Bloody "Fitz" Mary. Excellent. Can't beat the price. $5.50 that includes a chaser from a nice selection of beers. Worth a return trip.
Plaza Tavern and Grill		Other than being a little sweet for my taste, a great bloody in most categories.
Quaker Steak and Lube		If you can find your way past the tree of celery, you'll find an affordable bloody mary ($3 on Sundays).
Sardine		I recommend this one. It has an interesting taste. I only gave it a half star for spice because I don't think it had enough heat for a bloody mary. Great salad that also includes a salsa with radish, celery salt on the rim and a chaser of Stella.
Silver Dollar		Tasty old school bloody in a rocks glass. Only a lemon slice for salad though.
Silver Eagle		If you like salad in your bloody, this is the spot for you. I loaded min up with cheese, sausage, garlic, green beans, asparagus, mushrooms, olives...you get the picture. The base bloody mix is very tasty too.
Sobelman's Pub and Grill		It's a $7.50 Bloody Mary, but well worth it. It tastes great and has twelve pieces of salad including cheese, sausage, and shrimp. Stay for one of the best burgers in town and watch them prepare it on the burger cam.
Texas Tubbs		This was a good bloody mary, but I think it could of used more flavor.
The Alchemy		I agree, strange taste to this one. It had a smoky type flavor that did not add to the bloody mary. The salad was the standard pickle, olive, lemon, and lime slice.
The Bayou		It's an ok, bloody. Spice and flavor were lacking a bit though.
The Bayou		This Bloody Mary definitely needs improvement. It was watered down tomato juice and tasted like Tabasco sauce. The Bayou has only been open a couple of weeks, so hopefully they'll improve. Great breakfast though!
The Black Bear		Very tasty bloody here. Beats many I've had elsewhere. Great salad that included shrimp. Had a nice twang in the spice. I'll be back.
The Blue Velvet Lounge		Your average, pint-sized, made by gorgeous bartender, Bloody.
The Comet Cafe		I liked this one. It could of used a little mroe heat, but the strip of bacon in the salad made up for that. Can't beat the look of a shorty of a Miller High-Life with the Bloody.
The Coopers Tavern		I thought this one was a little heavy on the horse radish, but other than that a solid bloody mary. Great selection of chasers too.
The Green Lantern		Not very impressed. You get served a pint glass with tomatoe jucie, vodka, pickle and lemon wedge. Then it's up to you to add the basic spices.
The Hubbard Diner		Great smooth tasting bloody. Simple salad of olives, lemon, and celery stalk. Went great with the breakfast.
The Old Fashioned		Almost a five star bloody. I thought it was lacking a little in flavor. The horseradish dominated the flavor. They also have a ginger bloody mary - but didn't try that one.
The Old Fashioned		The Wisconsin Bloody is a small meal. It has beef jerky, a pickled egg, cheese curds, asparagus..., all locally produced. I think it's a bit heavy on horseradish though.
The Orpheum Theatre		I thought they were a liitle heavy with the A1 steak sauce.
The Skybox		A make your own bloody. They give you a half a glass of vodka and then it's up to you to do the rest. Only 4 stars because there was only Tabasco and celery salt available.
The Skybox		I'm adding another review here becuase they no longer have the make your own bloody bar. All you get is a slice of lemon and olives now.
The Stadium Bar		This is the Bloody you’ll get when you order inside the bar on Badger football Saturday.
The Up North Bar		A piece of craftsman's ship. Ten ingredients; ten pieces of salad. Ask Michelle to make it.
The Up North Bar		The second trip to this bar. They changed t0 a recipe that unfortunately tastes like spaghetti sauce :( Still a great salad though.

Town and Country Golf Club		When will I learn not to order Bloody Marys at Golf Clubs. Tasted more like plain tomato juice. Only a lemon wedge for the salad.
Tumbledown Trails		Disappointing. Made by rookie bartenders. I would think a golf course could do better.
Urbane		This is a good one! Served in a 21 ounce goblet with a great salad that included a beef stick. The celery salt topped off a great flavor. Well worth the $6.
Vintage Spirits and Grill		They have a bloody mary bar on the weekends with breakfast. I made the first bloody myself. My only complaint is that I think the tomato juice base was just that...only tomato juice. I had the bartender make the second bloody for me...much better.
Whiskey Girl		Not so great. Just a couple olives, in a weak tasting tomato sauce. Look elsewhere.
Wilsons Bar and Grill		You can't beat the cost - only $3.50, but it's just not right drinking a bloody out of a plastic glass.
Zander's Capitol Grill		In the location of the former State Steet Bar and Grill, Zander's is luxury sports bar. The bloody had a great salad, but fell a little short on the heat and spice.
Zayda buddys		It has cheese curds in. What else is there to say.
Zieggy's Bar and Grill		I broke the rules and ordered this one after 6 PM. It was a great tasting bloody. The salad included olives, brussel sprouts, lime, and pickle, topped with celery salt and served in a pint glass.
