Babe's has a great outdoor patio and the prettiest bloody you've ever seen. It comes in a large goblet rimmed with salt and pepper. The salad is multiple olives and a pickle. However, it is simply a glorified glass of tomato juice with not much punch for the $6.75 price.

I wish I could say that this bloody was X-rated, but instead it was barely legal. This breakfast bar known for it's adult "educational" videos has cheap bloodies with a condiment and spice bar. With how crowded this place gets, its a whole lotta effort to get your custom concoction created and traverse back to your table. Chasers are available only upon request. I'd give this place a pass on ponying up any money for tomato juice with a splash of vodka. Bottomline...go for the entertainment and pass on the bloody.

Benvenuto's recently went the route of the popular BM Bar. You figure the bars gotta love it because there are no complaints about the concoction you created yourself! Anyway, this was a great deal. 1/3 of a pint glass of vodka and then your choice of salad and spices. The mixt they had was okay. Just your typical tomatoey goodness, but nothing to write home about. The choices for spice were: celery salt, salt, pepper, tobasco, worchest, and A-1. The salad items were: pepperoni, onion, mushroom, olives, pickles, beans, and asparagus. They did keep the BM bar area very tidy (as is a frequent problem I've found in this set up). The prices were very good as well - $4.50 for rail and $5.50 for Absolut with a chaser.

Bobby Rockets certainly blasts off with a bloody mary that is certainly out of this universe. The salad was unbelievable - 2 pickles, asparagus, green bean, onion, 2 mushrooms, 2 olives and a brussle sprout. The pint sized glass was lightly rimmed with celery salt and pepper. Now to the taste...amazing. The key to Leslie's lucious mary is the vodka. Her own personal infused vodka recipe with peppers and jalepenos is created fresh specifically for the bloody marys she creates. About 48 hours of love goes into every bloody mary. The taste was a perfect blend of spice and nice. The mix was Zing Zang based and not too thick or thin. The price isn't going to blast your wallet at $4.50 with a chaser, I'd say this is the most economical 5-star around. If you are looking for a nice country drive followed by a Bobby Bloody, head to Lyons, Wisconsin today.

I got the regular-size bloody at $6. The larger size was only .50 more, but the size would've put me in bed for the rest of the day. I did receive a special salad that was 2 olives, pickle, cheese stick, and beef stick. Normally the standard salad for the $6 one is just olive and pickle. The homemade mix was a nice light blend of tomato, celery salt and pepper. Only a 1/2 star on the price because no complimentary chaser (I'm beginning to consider these standard). However, you could order a small chaser for $1.50. Definitely worth checking out.

Why would you ever have a bloody at the bowling alley? Well, if it's the day after St. Patrick's and your hang over is WAY over-the-line on league night, then that the answer. Pleasantly surprised with the bloodies at the bowling alley. Very tasty mix a touch on the spicy side without being over the top. The size was small only and the price was a little high at $4 with no chaser, so that would be the only reason why this drink didn't bowl-me-over.

I just wanted to amend my review to say that the Bowl A Vard will do a chaser upon request, but for some reason the price depends on which bartender you ask. Sometimes it $4 and other times $4.50.

This is one of the priciest pints around. $7 without the chaser! If you are going to try it, head there on Sunday when they are 2 for 1. I thought the taste was a little bland and tomatoey. The guiness added a bit too much thickness, in my opinion. Great salad success with a pickle, onion, olive, mushroom, and lemon.

This was the absolute WORST bloody mary I ever had. I was hoping for something to tide me over on a lay-over and got the most vile concoction of tomato juice and worchester sauce. I could barely choke it down, but how could I not when I had paid $6 for it! The salad was non-exsistent and so will I be the next time I want a bloody at this airport bar.

This bloody mary has been highly rec'd for quite some time. Finally checked it out and was slightly disappointed by the high price. The regular bloody with a teeny-tiny chaser was $9. That's the most I've ever spend on a bloody. However, it isn't a complete loss because it is almost worth it. Salad was celery, lemon/lime, 2 olives, cheese bally, beef stick, and 1 delicious cajun shrimp. The spice was just average. Medium thick tomato juice on a rimmed celery salt glass. The largest "spice" in it was vodka. Honestly, it was worth the trip in some ways, but I wouldn't go again.

Dexter's is the home of the best popcorn in Madison and honestly, it stops there. This place is part of a new gastropub phenom in Madtown. Pricey burgers and pricey taps fill what should be a blue collar neighborhood bar. I ordered the bloody, which was reasonably priced at $4. The mix was very pickley and off. The bartender did mention that she thought the mix was also off, but didn't give me any sorta discount for admitting the foulness. I did ask for a chaser when one wasn't put down in front of me and she happily obliged. However, I was charged $1 for the chaser and I didn't know it until I got the bill. Overall, I would only go here for popcorn because everything else is overpriced and off. It is the twilight zone of neighborhood bars.

A five star bloody for six bucks. You may scoff at the price, but you aren't just getting a beverage. It is a MEAL! Your bloody appetizer comes in an oversized mug full of booze and extras. The six jumbo vodka soaked shrimp are just part of the reason why this is one of the best in the area. If you are still hungry afterwards, theres always popcorn and on Saturdays they have $1 cans all day. One warning is that it is in the town of Burke which is still smoking, so be prepared for a little stink with your drink.

I finally had the "regular" bloody at the Eagle Crest and it was absolutely delicious. Semi-homemade with part spices, part Mr. T bloody mix. Pint glass with pickle, olives, and chaser for $4. The Eagle prooves that they can make the same great bloody in a smaller size for the budget friendly bloodsters.

On sleepy Main Street Sunny P is a great deal for your Sunday window shopping. $5 with a chaser of Miller Lite, this bloody is a refreshing tomateoey blend with just enough spice to heat the back of your throat. It didn't appear to have horseradish and was definitely decent without it. The condiments included 2 olives and a pickle. The bartender was very friendly and mentioned they may soon have an actual bloody bar.

Another Irish version of an American favorite. I stopped to enjoy some of the sunshine of Erin's patio and a bloody. The drink came in a really nice pint glass with no chaser (don't the Irish know that). The spicy soup er drink was very thick and if there was booze in there, you couldn't tell. The saving grace was a nice size salad with olives, pickle and YES a beef stick! Wagon was happy to gobble that up for me. Cost was $6.75 and from what you've read you know it's better to go Guiness at Erin's.

On a recent lunch outting to the Glass Nickle, I figured I'd give the bloody a try. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about what they would offer. I know the nickle has great pizza, but could they also provide a bloody? The answer is yes. The bloody is served in a pint glass with a choice of chaser for $5. The consistency of the bloody was a nice tomatoey blend. However, I'm a spice-girl, but this was REALLY spicy...so don't say you haven't been warned. The bartender also didn't really indicate if there were options on the level of spice. The salad was a great one, 2 olives, a mushroom, onion, lemon, lime, and pickle. It was a great appetizer for my pizza and I would definitely get it again.

Admist the smug atmosphere of Hilldale is a nice bloody mary hidden in a brew-pub. The beverage was a nice consistency without being too thick, but the horseradish was a little on the chunky side. That added to a kick in the spice (which I like) and a blockage in my straw (which I don't like). This is definitely a bloody for the horse lovers. A decent deal at $6 with a small chaser (upon request). The salad is 2 olives, pickle, lemon and lime. I'd say it's worth a stop if you are in the area.

Mickey's makes a delicious bloody. The spice is a perfect blend of not-too-hot-not-too-mild from their home-made mix. The salad is an excellent mix of peppers, onions, olives, mushroom, and pickle. The only negative is that the cost is $5 without a chaser, so $6 if you want the whole bloody mary kit. Sadly, a dollar is a little pricey for a lil' PBR in my life.

I know you're thinking, why would I go to Ireland for a bloody? I tell you why! Those Irish know a thing or two (or fifty) about drinking, so let's see if they can do a bloody...bloody well. My companions and I stopped in for a mid-afternoon refreshment. The spice of the bloodies was fantastic and the bartender assured me that they make their own Mo's Mary Mix on the spot. The spice little was a little hot (how I like it) and there were no options for mild...so you spicelessers beware! The salad was nothing too crazy, a couple olives and a pickle spear. The cost was about $7 and it came with your choice of any beer chaser. So good it has me thinking...IRISH I were drinking one now. Cheers!

Murphy's makes your mouth-water with decent bloodies and breakfast. This combination is hard to find affordably priced without a crowd. I wandered in on a Sunday morning about 11am and was greeted with a nice local crowd of 5 and the kind of bartenders that would be in a Tarantino movie (lotsa talk and jokes). The bloody was your typical, not too much of anything beverage. It went down easily and the olives were eaten as quickly as breakfast. The popcorn they have there is also really good. Salty and fresh without being too buttery. Breakfast and Bloodies are best at Murphy's!

The bartender totally downplayed this bar's bloody mary. He said it wasn't good at all, but I think he just didn't want to make one because it was surprisingly delicious! The home-brewed mix had a subtle spice that hit you afterwards without setting your mouth on fire. The salad wasn't too crazy with only 3 olives in a pint glass, but Pedro's does have a chips/salsa bar in the bar area on the weekends to fill your tummy. No chase was offered, and I think in the future I'm not going to ask...I gotta be offered the chaser per Bloody Etiquette ;) $5.50.

This silver eagle gets a GOLD STAR! I can't say enough abou tthis place. It is a bloody mary bar in it's best form. You get two shots of grey goose in a pint glass for $6 with a chaser. Then you mount a stage to what is the most decadent spread of bloody fixings I've seen. I used their mix, which was the perfect blend of spice and sauce. I then had my choice of shrimp, pickles, olives, beef sticks, and many more to throw in my glass. Top it off with their fresh popped popcorn and you've got not only a great lunch, but a great bloody as well.

Slice's is known as a local hang out for a quick beer and a little townie atmosphere. Stopping in for a bloody was great for hanging with friends, but not for the taste. The bloody was very watered down and served in a smaller-than-pint-glass. What the bloody lacked in tomato flavor, it did make up for in a few olives (my favorite salad), but it wasn't much more than that. The price was right, coming in around $4, but I would've rather spent it on a pint of beer here.

Looking to wet your whistle while shopping at south town? Well, south town is now defunct and so is this bloody mary. I was very excited by the spice. My mouth tingled as I sipped away, but I realized not all dutiful drinkers enjoy that level. The size was pint and the complimentary chasers were tiny. The salad was the biggest disappointment, one lemon and two olives. Then when I went to the bar I noticed that another person had a pickle with theirs and the glass was larger than mine. I guess they are a little sizist and snackist there. Bloody Buyer Beware!

Texas isn't big on bloody mary's! At least, the area I lived in Texas for a while wasn't. This bloody was very thick, but it did have a good amount of spice. Salad was a sparse olive and lemon, but being able to eat all the peanuts I could made it worth a trip.

In this economy everyone needs a $3 Sunday afternoon bloody! I was rather skeptical with it being a chain, but after driving past their $3 Sunday Special Sign, I finally decided to give it a whirl. A pleasant staff made a pint-sized potion with a couple shots of vodka. Not very spicy, but there was a bloody bar to add tobasco, A-1, and W sauce. The bar also included ala cart items ranging from cheese, pickles, to asparagus and much more. If you can put up with the Friday's flair, it's worth your while.

The Alchemy is part of the Madison phenomenom known as "Gastropubitis". A kitchy bar with decent decro and really amazing food. Buffalo burgers, humus, and wasabi peas fill a menu in lieu of typical bar-fare. You can't order anything like a Miller Lite here and you definitely shouldn't order the bloody mary. The drink was really watery and weak. Spicy V8 would've been better than their mix. It is pint-size and comes with a chaser upon request. I do have to say the bartenders there are always very personably. However, personality cannot make up for this tomato juice teaser.

Uno's declares on their menu, "Bloody Good Mary!" I'd say they are right as far as a middle road "good" bloody is concerned. The spicy version is a little bit too hot, but this is mainly due to the coarse pepper in the beverage. Bite down on those a bit and you'll be asking for a chaser. However, a chase wasn't offered and the price was $6.09. The salad was a little different, 2 pepperoni slices, a cube of pepper jack cheese, olive, and a lemon. I know that it didn't have a pickle, but I appreciate the creativity. Overall...I'd agree...it's good, but not great.
